We believe that within a growing church it is important to provide opportunities to build meaningful relationships of support and encouragement. One of the ways we do that is through our Home Groups.
These meet on different days of the week in church members' homes in Long Crendon and the surrounding area. Mostly the meetings take place in the evening either weekly or twice a month. Some Home Groups meet during the day. They include social time, Bible study and prayer.

Three of the most important and inspiring words Jesus ever spoke are recorded for us in Mark 1:17 - 'Come, follow me'. The aim of the men's ministry at LCBC is to encourage each other to follow Jesus Christ more wholeheartedly and share the great news of the Gospel with men who do not know God for themselves.
We aim to meet together regularly to encourage each other and pray for issues that are on our hearts and also organise several great social occasions to help build relationships. .
We aim to laugh together, build lasting friendships and provide an opportunity for people to find out a bit more about what it means to follow Jesus for themselves.
Come and get stuck in!

As part of our mission as a church we want to equip women to love Christ wholeheartedly and to live out the gospel in all of life. In order to do this we put on an event each term where we study his word, share how God is working in our lives, pray and encourage one another.

We believe passionately that children and young people are an integral part of our church family and we seek to provide a safe, fun and exciting environment for them to learn more about how great God is, to put their trust in Jesus and learn how to live for him to the full.
All ages from babies to late teens have groups suited to their particular needs.
The church has a great team of volunteers leading and helping. We have a Safeguarding policy in place, with relevant checks and training for our staff and volunteers.

SClub runs during the Sunday morning service for children aged 3 to 11 (year 6). We begin by gathering as a whole church and then part-way through the service the children leave for their groups.
SClub is all about faith with a whole heap of fun mixed in. Teaching is done in small, age specific groups, led by a trained and committed team. Every week we open the Bible to hear what God has to say to us and learn how to apply that to our lives. We may be young but we believe God uses us anyway!

Toybox meets on Thursday mornings in two sessions during term time. It is a group for toddlers, babies and their carers and is a mix of free play, singing time for the children and a short 'thought' for the adults.
It's a great place to make new friends and enjoy a coffee and home-made cake. There is no charge for these sessions, but there is opportunity to make a small contribution to support our "Compassion" sponsor child.
Snacks for children are provided, but please bring your own if your child has any special dietary requirements.
We do have a limit on numbers, for everyone's safety and enjoyment, so please book in advance; and also make sure that your child is registered with us before attending for the first time. There are two identical sessions, but please only stay for one.
If you are arriving by car please park with consideration to our neighbours - preferably use the Rec carpark, if you are able to walk through from the back of the church.

We believe passionately that young people are an integral part of our church family and so we seek to provide a safe, fun and exciting environment for them to learn more about how great God is, to put their trust in Jesus and learn how to live for him to the full.
There is an exciting variety of activities for teens at LCBC that attract many young people. The activities are designed to support them as they grow in faith and help them to stay engaged and involved in the church, as well as reaching out to young people in the local community.
Impact is our school year 7 - 9 group. Impact wants to help young people know Jesus and grow in their relationship with him, not just on a Sunday morning but through the whole week and throughout all of their lives.
Impact meets on alternate Sunday mornings. We attend the first part of the church service to join in with the worship before heading upstairs to learn from God’s word and from one another. We have an opportunity, occasionally, to serve the younger children by helping in their classes and sometimes we stay in church to learn how we can get the most out of a service and transition to being in church full-time.
